Tuna fishing off Cape Cod, Massachusetts is some of the best bluefin tuna fishing in the world! Fish can range from 50 pounds to over 1,000 pounds. Last year’s average size fish was in the 150-220 pound range.
The best time for tuna fishing in Massachusetts is June, July, August, September and October. You may also choose a combination trip with any other species in our waters! We can fish for tuna in the morning and cod/haddock fish in the afternoon.
On all of our Massachusetts tuna fishing trips we go above and beyond to find the fish! We will troll, jig, or use live bait depending on the conditions of that day.
We have an excellent success rate when it comes to hooking these fish and consistently outproduce our competition.
All giant tuna (over 73”) belong to the boat and must be sold. However, Bay Runner Charters will give all customers, who catch tuna over the 73” mark, 1/3 the sale of the fish. Prices for each fish will vary depending on the fat quality in the meat, size, and color.
All bait and tackle are provided in the price of our bluefin tuna charters. Enjoy a chance of lifetime landing the largest tuna in the ocean!
